H&B Thermal Concrete 2-Seal Tie - Box of 125 Features
- Special Alternating Threads: Designed for secure use with concrete, CMU, wood stud, or brick backup.
- Material and Coating: Stainless steel construction with proprietary UL94 compliant coating for reduced thermal transfer.
- EPDM Washer Seal: Factory-installed washers ensure a tight seal on the insulation face and vapor barrier.
- Large Diameter Washer: The 1-1/2” washer enhances insulation security and reduces fastener penetrations.
- Barrel Lengths: Available in various lengths to accommodate different insulation thicknesses.
- Installation Requirement: Needs a pre-drilled 5/32” hole for effective anchoring into concrete, CMU, or masonry.
- Finish Options: Type 304 Stainless Steel barrel with a polymer-coated screw for optimal thermal and corrosion resistance.
- Thermal Conductivity: Significantly lower than carbon steel and zinc, improving thermal insulation performance.
