The H&B Concrete Seal Tie is an advanced masonry anchoring system designed for securing masonry veneer to a variety of backup materials, including concrete, CMU, wood, and brick. This system includes a specialized screw with alternating threads, allowing for easy installation into predrilled holes while ensuring a strong hold. It features factory-installed EPDM sealing washers that create a moisture-resistant seal, reducing potential water intrusion and enhancing long-term durability. The barrel portion of the tie is available in lengths ranging from 5/8" to 5", accommodating different insulation thicknesses and construction requirements. The tie is made with a polymer-coated zinc alloy barrel for superior corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
For added flexibility, the H&B Concrete Seal Tie can be used in seismic zones by integrating 9 gauge or 3/16" continuous wire into its swaged, overlapping leg design. The projecting eyelet is compatible with 3", 4", and 5" 2-Seal Byna-Lok Wire Ties, providing a complete masonry anchoring solution.
