H&B 2-Seal Anchor Tie
The H&B 2-Seal Anchor Tie is a high-performance veneer anchoring system engineered specifically for metal stud construction. Designed to maintain the integrity of both insulation and air/vapor barriers, this innovative tie features a dual-diameter barrel and pre-installed EPDM washers that form a two-point seal. This improves moisture resistance compared to traditional single-barrel designs, especially in applications where perfect alignment is difficult to achieve.
Contractors rely on the 2-Seal Tie for anchoring masonry veneer to backup walls while maintaining energy code compliance and building envelope performance. It’s compatible with a wide range of insulation thicknesses and includes an integrated #12 screw for quick installation. The projecting eyelet accepts 3/16 in. Byna-Lok Wire Ties in multiple lengths and can be adapted for seismic zones with continuous wire reinforcement. For optimal performance, installation requires the H&B 2-Seal Chuck Adapter and recommended 16 in. x 16 in. spacing.
