WR Meadows AIR-SHIELD 40 mil Self-Adhering Thru-Wall Flashing is a flexible, peel-and-stick membrane designed to block air, vapor, and liquid moisture at critical transitions in the wall assembly. This roll-applied flashing helps protect masonry and framed walls from leaks and drafts while maintaining continuity with adjacent air and moisture barrier systems.

The cross-laminated polyethylene backing provides excellent tensile strength, elongation, and tear resistance, so the membrane can be folded and formed around corners, sills, and terminations without falling apart. Its aggressive adhesive bonds to prepared concrete, CMU, gypsum sheathing, wood, and metal substrates, allowing reliable detailing at lintels, spandrel beams, parapets, and window and door openings.

Designed for use as a thru-wall flashing and dampproofing course, AIR-SHIELD installs without flame and offers self-healing characteristics for minor surface damage. A low-temperature version is available for colder jobsites, helping crews maintain schedule while still achieving a durable, long-term flashing solution.
