Husqvarna DM230 Handheld Core Drill
The Husqvarna DM230 Handheld Core Drill is a versatile and powerful tool designed for both dry and wet drilling applications. With its ergonomic pistol grip design, this core drill offers enhanced control, making it easy to handle for professional contractors and less experienced users alike. Ideal for light applications such as drilling holes for ventilation, plumbing pipes, electrical sockets, and more, the DM230 is capable of drilling up to 4 inches by hand and up to 6 inches when used with a stand.
One of the standout features of the DM230 is its overload protection system, which uses pulsation to warn the operator when an overload is approaching. If the load is not reduced, the motor shuts off automatically, preventing overheating and extending the life of the tool. The Elgard™ technology further boosts productivity by safeguarding the motor against damage and wear during extended use.
The water-cooled 3-speed gearbox ensures optimal drilling performance while also increasing the service intervals, making the DM230 a reliable choice for long-term use. With Smart Start® technology, the drill reduces vibration and speed during hole starts, providing smoother operation and better control. The Softstart™ feature reduces the incoming current to lower the strain on the motor when starting, ensuring a smooth start with high productivity.
The Husqvarna DM230 is designed for durability and ease of use, with a shock-proof, protective design that guards the electronics from damage. Weighing just enough to provide stability without being cumbersome, the drill is easy to carry and install, making it a convenient choice for contractors who need a portable, high-performance tool. The DM230 can quickly switch between dry and wet drilling, giving users the flexibility to adapt to a variety of job site requirements.
