Stego Tack Tape is a high-performance, double-sided adhesive strip designed to create a strong bond between Stego vapor barriers and structural surfaces. Its flexible, moldable composition allows it to conform to concrete, masonry, metal, insulation, and wood—making it an ideal solution for sealing vapor barriers at vertical walls, footings, and other perimeter terminations.

This 2 in. wide, 50 ft long adhesive strip is made from a blend of synthetic rubber and resins, delivering aggressive adhesion with low water vapor permeance. Stego Tack Tape is a clean alternative to caulks and sealants, offering a fast, reliable installation without mess. It’s Green Air GOLD certified for low VOC emissions and contains no solvents, making it safe for indoor use on both commercial and residential projects.

To ensure proper adhesion, apply Stego Tack Tape in temperatures between 40°F and 110°F to clean, dry surfaces. Once applied, simply press the vapor barrier into place to form a continuous, durable seal that supports long-term moisture protection and compliance with ASTM E1643 installation standards.
