Cetco Waterstop-RX Expanding Concrete Joint Waterstop

The Cetco Waterstop-RX is a bentonite-based, expanding strip waterstop engineered to prevent water ingress through concrete construction joints. Designed for cast-in-place applications, it swells on contact with water to create a self-sealing barrier that protects against both continuous and intermittent hydrostatic pressure. Waterstop-RX is ideal for vertical and horizontal nonmoving joints, pipe penetrations, and irregular detailing in new-to-existing construction interfaces.

This waterstop is available in two configurations to meet different installation needs. Waterstop-RX 101 has a 1 in. x 3/4 in. rectangular profile and comes in 100 ft. rolls, ideal for general-purpose applications. Waterstop-RX 102 features a smaller 3/4 in. x 3/8 in. half-circle profile and comes in longer 200 ft. rolls, making it a flexible option for tighter spaces or more detailed applications.

Unlike traditional PVC or rubber dumbbell waterstops, Waterstop-RX requires no split-forming, seam welding, or special pieces. It simplifies installation, reduces labor, and integrates easily into any waterproofing design. Proven in real-world construction for over two decades, it enhances external waterproofing systems by targeting high-risk leak areas and reinforcing long-term durability.
