The Grip-Rite 12Ft x 25Ft 3 Layer Foam Concrete Curing Blanket is designed to retain heat and protect concrete during the critical curing process in cold-weather conditions. Its 1/2 in. thick insulated core provides reliable thermal retention, helping to maintain the heat of hydration and prevent freezing in low temperatures. This ensures proper curing and enhances the strength and durability of concrete structures.

The curing blanket features a woven poly tarpaulin envelope with internal insulation, reinforced by a patented webbing design for added strength and longevity. The high-density polyethylene (PE) coating on both sides offers extreme vapor-retarding properties, minimizing moisture penetration and ensuring even heat distribution across the surface. With a low perm rating of 0.87, this blanket is optimized for superior insulation performance.

Designed with efficiency in mind, the buttonless construction eliminates plastic fasteners that could tear, catch, or allow moisture to seep through. This not only enhances durability but also reduces the risk of disturbing freshly poured concrete. The full edge-to-edge insulation eliminates voids at the hems, ensuring complete and consistent thermal coverage.

The PE webbing includes perforated eyelets spaced at 10 cm intervals, allowing secure fastening to scaffolding, forms, or other blankets. This makes it easy to keep the blanket in place even in challenging weather conditions. It can also be used as an insulated tarp for scaffolding applications, providing additional versatility on job sites.

While this curing blanket offers excellent heat retention and insulation, it is important to note that it is not flame retardant and should be used in compliance with local fire codes. Additionally, it is not intended to function as a waterproof membrane and should not be relied upon for moisture protection.
