The Grip-Rite 6Ft x 25Ft 2 Layer Foam Concrete Curing Blanket is designed to protect concrete in cold weather by retaining heat during the hydration process. This insulated curing blanket features a 3/8 in. thick foam core encased in a woven poly tarpaulin envelope with reinforced webbing to enhance durability and longevity on job sites.

Unlike traditional curing blankets, this model utilizes a buttonless design that eliminates the need for plastic fasteners, reducing the risk of tearing, catching, and moisture penetration. The high-density polyethylene (PE) envelope is coated on both sides, offering extreme vapor-retarding properties with a low perm rating of 0.87, helping to prevent heat loss and maintain concrete temperature stability.

Grip-Rite curing blankets feature edge-to-edge insulation with no voids at the hems, maximizing thermal efficiency. Additionally, perforated eyelets spaced at 10 cm intervals allow for secure fastening to scaffolding, forms, or other blankets, keeping them in place during extreme weather conditions. These blankets can also double as insulated tarps for scaffolding applications, offering versatility in construction settings.

While these blankets provide effective insulation and heat retention, they are not flame retardant and should only be used in compliance with local fire codes. Additionally, they are not intended for use as a waterproof membrane, so they should not be relied upon for moisture protection.
